Giles is a loss adjuster in the Commercial Property group. He specialises in major building losses and engineering-related claims. He provides advice on issues such as loss mitigation measures, appointment of specialist services and contractors, repair contract management, code compliance issues, and policy response to repairs and seismic upgrading of buildings. Giles has a wide range of loss adjusting experience in building, machinery, fire, and construction-related material damage losses.
He is also part of the firm’s catastrophe response group, providing surveying and project management support skills, particularly in relation to material damage losses to historic and devotional buildings, residential dwellings, and industrial property losses.
Giles has specialist knowledge in the building industry. He also has strong communication, negotiation, and mediation skills when dealing with complex losses.
